Welcome to the Interboro Theater site. We are excited to announce our fall show – The Outsiders.

The play The Outsiders is an adaptation of S.E. Hinton’s novel, set in 1967 Tulsa, Oklahoma. It tells the story of two rival gangs, the working-class “Greasers” and the affluent “Socs,” focusing on the Greaser protagonist, Ponyboy Curtis, as he navigates themes of friendship, family, identity, and belonging in a world of socioeconomic division and violence. The play reimagines key moments from the book, such as the rumble and the church fire, while exploring the complexities of self-discovery and finding the “good in the world”.
